West Newton River Cleanup (Spring)

Float down the river with us, picking up trash and tires along the way!

• Sign this waiver before you come!
• Meet at the West Newton Public Launch (parking is available here)
• Sign in and get a snack
• Shuttle from West Newton to Cedar Creek Park Boat Launch, shuttle will be leaving at 9:30am
• Gear up, grab boats (available to borrow)
• Float and clean roughly 3 river miles
• Return to your vehicle at the West Newton Boat Ramp
• Feel free to hang out with us at Bloom Brew afterward for one free beer!

Bring your own: snacks, sunscreen, water, change of clothes

We will provide: gloves, garbage bags, life jackets, canoes and paddles (limited boat supply)

If you bring your own boat, please email Lindsey@mtwatershed.com as this will open up spots for others who need to borrow boats. Please note: kayaks are often too small to carry tires, but you can always team up with a canoe to haul them.

Shuttle logistics if you bring your own boat: drop it at the launch in Cedar Creek and then drive your car to the West Newton to park and catch our shuttle back to Cedar Creek. The shuttle will be leaving at about 9:30am.
