Population Education Professional Development – POSTPONED

February 23 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

This course has been postponed. We will update the page when we organize a new date!

Population Education is all about people – how many of us there are, how we shape the world, and how we interact with each other. And as the go-to program providing innovative lesson plans and professional development on human population growth and its effects, Population Education supports K-12 teachers across content areas.

Our human population has grown from 1 billion to 8 billion in just over 200 years and is expected to grow through this century, so it is critical to examine human impacts on wildlife, climate and natural resources, while working toward equality and justice for the world’s people. Attendees will receive access to the full Population Education Curriculum as well as $100 worth of related teaching materials!

No walk ins will be permitted to this event.

ACT 48 hours are available. Please have your PPID number at the event.

Courtesy a grant from DEP, the first 10 k-12 public school educators that register and attend this event will receive a $100 stipend in addition to the $100 of teaching materials!
