Birds & Blooms Hike in the Gorge

Kick off the spring with a relaxing, informative nature hike on the Indian Creek Valley Trail!

Local naturalists, Josh Lawrey and Lisa Smith, will guide us into the Indian Creek Valley Gorge and show us the natural wonders along the way! First, we’ll look and listen for migrating and local birds with Josh, our resident bird expert. Then we’ll walk further on the trail to appreciate the blooming spring ephemerals.

The walk will be an out-and-back of about 3-4 miles. You can turn around early, or go even further!

Bring binoculars if you have a pair, but we’ll also have several sets available to borrow from the Outdoor Lending Library!

We’ll meet at the Indian Creek Valley Trail parking area across from Camp Christian. Additional parking is available at the Showtime Trailhead Parking Area, across Route 381.
