Shell’s Falcon Pipeline will carry ethane underground for 97 miles and go through Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. During construction of a similar pipeline, Sunoco’s Mariner East 2, several landowners in Pennsylvania suffered from contaminated water supplies and other types of property damage that caused flooding, landslides, and sinkholes.
