A note from the director:
At Mountain Watershed Association, I’ve learned that the work of protecting and restoring the places we love often moves slowly, as we build trust among our communities and support the regeneration of ecosystems that have been neglected for too long. Our work takes patience, long-term commitment, and an understanding that victories do not always come easily. Yet, for MWA, the past year has been a season of fruition.
As you read through all that we’ve accomplished, I want to extend my gratitude to you – our members, supporters, staff, and Board – who continue to work tirelessly to serve the communities of the Youghiogheny watershed, as well as all those downstream.
