As a result of a follow-up inspection conducted on the Curry Mine site (see our write-up about the first inspection here), OSM has issued a cessation order to Amerikohl requiring that itĀ cease operations on the site until it complies with earlier notices of violation mandating the instillation ofĀ appropriate erosion and sedimentation controls.
As expected, Amerikohl has requested review of both notices of violation. Ā We will keep you informed.
