DESCRIPTION:**Unfortunately\, this event has been canceled. The Poetry Contest is still happening! Please submit your nature poem by Wednesday\, April 12th.** \n  \nJoin Mountain Watershed Association and co-host\, Laurelville Retreat Center\, at their new pavilion on Saturday\, March 4th\, 10am-12pm\, for a free Nature Poetry Workshop. Ages 12 and up. Journal about your five senses as you take in the scenery at Laurelville Retreat Center. Learn how to turn what you experienced into your very own poem. \nMWA’s Indian Creek Valley Trail Committee is also accepting poems to be displayed on the Indian Creek Valley Trail (ICVT). Submit your nature poem in pdf form with your name\, age and contact info to taylor@mtwatershed.com by Wednesday\, April 12th for an anonymous committee review. Limit of 20 lines. \nAll participants will receive a certificate of completion. Selected poems will be revealed at MWA’s Annual Birds and Blooms event on May 6th\, 8am-10am\, near Camp Christian.
