SUMMARY:Heart of the Highlands Piano Recital
DESCRIPTION:Gather at Sparks in the Valley to celebrate and protect the waters of the Laurel Highlands! Experience the flowing harmonies presented by local talent in a piano concert inspired by nature’s seasons. \n\n\n\nEnjoy a beautiful selection of wine\, refreshments\, and food in this incredible\, locally owned space in the Indian Creek Valley.  \n\n\n\nGet informed on current events regarding the massive\, active and proposed Rustic Ridge coal mine located in the Donegal area\, also known as the Gateway to the Laurel Highlands.  \n\n\n\nGive back to our waters and community in the crosshairs of active coal mining. Proceeds will benefit Mountain Watershed Association’s legal efforts to protect Indian Creek watershed and Four Mile Run watershed from potentially devastating impacts from the Rustic Ridge Coal Mine expansion\, which was recently approved by the DEP and legally appealed by MWA.  \n\n\n\nSpace limited to 50 | $50 per person ticket price includes refreshments and entertainment; additional donations encouraged.  \n\n\n\nContact: stacey@mtwatershed.com\, 724-455-4200 x 9 \n\n\n\nMore details and registration to come!
