SUMMARY:Indian Creek Watershed Festival
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 28 from 10 am – 2 pm at C.W. Resh Memorial Park in Indian Head\, PA \n\n\n\nJoin us for the 2024 Indian Creek Watershed Festival! This year’s event will be another fun day for our local youth\, featuring: \n\n\n\n\nA free kids’ fishing day along Indian Creek\n\n\n\nEco-arts and craft activities\n\n\n\nFree lunch for kids (hot dog\, chips\, cookie\, and a drink!) \n\nAdditional food available for purchase \n\n\n\n\n\nYard games for all ages\n\n\n\nInteractive environmental learning\n\n\n\nThe famous Indian Creek Duck Race! \n\n\n\n\n NEW for 2024!  \n\n\n\n\nFirst 50 kids: get to build and take home their own birdhouse!\n\n\n\nEveryone takes home: native seed pods\, pine cone birdfeeders\, tie dyed bandanas\, and their very own rubber ducky!\n\n\n\nChuck a Duck competition! Noon-12:30 pm! The top 10 kiddos who slingshot their ducky the farthest\, gets an additional duck in the race! Every participant gets a mini-rubber ducky.\n\n\n\nFree duck race\, just for kids! 1pm! Each kid gets 3 duck tickets at registration! Prize packs for top 3 and last duck!\n\n\n\n\nIf you’d like to be involved in planning or volunteering\, please reach out to lindsey@mtwatershed.com! \n\n\n\nHosting an event of this magnitude is only possible through generous contributions from our community! \n\n\n\nYou can invest in this worthy cause by making a tax-deductible monetary donation. This funding helps us purchase trout for families to catch and helps us provide free lunches for kids\, making this event affordable and fun for everyone. \n\n\n\n\nFor donations valued at $200 or more\, your business or organization (or your name\, if you choose) will be acknowledged through social media posts\, in our email newsletter\, and on a large banner posted in a prominent space at the event.\n\n\n\nFor donations valued under $200\, your business or organization will be thanked with social media posts and in our email newsletter.\n\n\n\n\nNo matter which donation level you choose\, all of our members\, supporters\, and event participants will be aware of your generosity!
